Are the dates set in stone?
July 27 (Fri) to July 29 (Sun) are the final dates, as pi years after our graduation (June 4, 2004) is July 25, 2007. Our apologies if the dates are not convenient. We hope you'll be able to make it.
Is it usual that the whole event is during the week?
Nope. Our reunion falls on a weekend (Fri-Sun). Make sure you're looking at a 2007 calendar. =)
Does it have to be in Las Vegas? Why can't it be some place that's cool and historic, like DC or NYC?
We think that Vegas can be quite cool, and it certainly has history (though not as much as the East Coast). Plus, Vegas offers something different from where most of us have already been or currently live. Just give it a chance!

Why can I find lower prices for some of these events elsewhere?
While our prices may appear higher than what you find advertised on some websites, the differences arise from four extra considerations: weekend pricing, taxes, gratuities, and reservation/setup fees. We assure you that the Pi Reunion is not being used as a fundraising vehicle.

How do we get to Las Vegas?
By whatever mode of transportation you fancy -- plane, train, bus, car, foot, etc.
Have you negotiated discounts for plane tickets?
We've looked into it, but it does not look feasible at this time.
Why did you pick the Wynn?
We considered a number of options; but in the end, the Wynn offered us a rate that we couldn't find anywhere else. Other casinos at the top of our list were the Venetian and the Bellagio, but they didn't even come close to $199/night. We think you'll be pleased with the Wynn.
Isn't the Wynn far from other hotels?
We don't think so. It's on the Strip and is located across the street from the Fashion Show Mall, TI, Mirage, and Venetian, etc.
Do I have to stay at the Wynn?
While we certainly think it's a great bargain and would like you to join us at the Wynn, we understand that it may not be in everyone's budget. If you'd like to arrange your own accommodations, you are welcome to do so.
Can we squeeze multiple people into a room?
The rates at the Wynn are based on single or double occupancy. Each extra occupant you choose to designate (up to four total occupants per room) will increase the nightly rate by $50...
